Working with Andy in Slack
Working with Andy in Slack
How to use MeetAndy from Slack.
Slack is where most teams talk to Andy day-to-day. You ask questions, plan changes, and hand off implementation work β all in regular Slack channels and threads.
At a glance
- You start with a mention.
@MeetAndy [your question or request]in any channel where Andy is a member. There are no slash commands. - Andy reacts with π immediately, then replies in a thread under your message a few seconds later.
- Conversations stay in threads so they don't clutter the channel. You can keep replying in the same thread to continue the conversation.
- Andy needs to be invited to a channel before it can see messages there. Public, private, group channels all work β DMs do not.
