Google Chat is where your team can talk to Andy when you use Google Workspace. You ask questions, plan changes, and hand off implementation work, all by mentioning Andy in a Google Chat space.

At a glance

You start with a mention. @MeetAndy [your question or request] in any space where Andy is a member.
Andy acknowledges immediately, then replies in a thread under your message a few seconds later.
Conversations stay in threads so they don't clutter the space. You can keep replying in the same thread to continue the conversation.
Andy needs to be added to a space before it can see messages there. Use /help or @MeetAndy help to see Andy's setup state in a space.
DMs are not supported. If you message Andy in a DM, it will reply with guidance to use a space instead.
